An online bookshop for Penguin, designed for desktop, tablet and phone.
The brief
A live brief from my 3MM Studio module. Design an e-commerce website for Penguin, from research all the way to a coded, responsive page.
What I made
Site map, user journeys, style guide, component library, pages at three sizes, prototype videos and one coded page.
How I got there
same parts at every size
Eight templates, three screen sizes.
I started with how people choose books in a real bookshop, then studied other bookshop websites. I kept the site to eight page templates: home, browse, book page, search, cart, checkout, account and about. Every page is built from one component library, so the tablet and phone versions match the desktop.
